    Practical solutions (Kiddicare review)

I was invited to take a look at the Kiddicare website and choose some items to review. Established in 1974, it is the UK’s leading online nursery retailer. I always have a mental list of things the children need and was really pleased when I sat down to browse the Kiddicare website to find everything I needed! We needed a small step so the toddler could easily access the kitchen sink. We found the BabyBjorn Safe Step which has rubber feet and a rubber mat so it’s non-slip. It allows the toddler to reach the sink to wash his hands,…

Anyway Up cup review and giveaway

When the toddler was little I went through every range of cups until I found one he was happy with. I didn’t realise until we were sent some Anyway Up cups to review that it had been the very fabulous Anyway Up Cow cup. The toddler adored it until we progressed to a grown up cup and had to put it away. The people behind Anyway Up cups have just relaunched their range and I was happy to review a cup with Little Sis who really needed to be weaned off a bottle. It was a bit harder than I…

    A day at the farm

Last week we were invited to Kentish Town City Farm to meet Paul Lindley who founded Ella’s Kitchen. He’s a lovely man and remembered we had previously met at an event at the ELC last year. Ella’s Kitchen always seem to be bringing out tasty new treats for our little ones and their latest is a new dairy range. We met at Kentish Town City Farm and I was a little nervous about going there as the toddler shows little interest in animals. He can name them all and is happy watching them on cBeebies, he’s just not so interested…

    Review: yoomi microwavable pod

It’s not often I write about products unless I really like them. Well yoomi is one of them and they’ve just brought out a new product which makes feeding even easier – the yoomi microwavable pod. As I’ve mentioned before when I’ve tried yoomi with the toddler and the baby, it warms the feed in just 60 seconds, is perfect for out and about or night feeds and ensures the milk is the right temperature. I was sent the new yoomi feeding system to try out*. I have to say it makes feeding so simple, especially when you’re in a…
