We were asked if we would like to try teething bling. It’s a great name which hooked me immediately to find out more. A little package duly arrived which I excitedly opened and found contained the loveliest, if unusual, necklace which was beautifully packaged. Teething bling has been designed to help babies who love to grab and chew whilst they are teething. As Edward only has 6 teeth this has been a useful aid. It is produced as a necklace or bangle and means you don’t have to stop wearing jewellery whilst your child is teething. When I gave it…

We were given the chance to try the new Annabel Karmel iPhone app called ‘Annabel’s Essential Guide to Feeding your Baby and Toddler’. I love my iPhone and I enjoy cooking for Edward so this was a perfect opportunity for me to try something new! My iPhone is stuffed full of apps to entertain Edward but just occasionally he lets me use it. I have a couple of recipe apps as I find them perfect for flicking through for inspiration when I’m short of time. The Annabel Karmel app has 100 recipes which have been helpfully split into sections for…

Annabel Karmel, the UK’s top parenting author on feeding babies and children, has just launched Annabel Karmel’s Organic Fresh Baby Purées. Edward loves trying new foods so we were sent Scrumptious Butternut Squash, Carrot and Salmon and My First Vegetable and Beef Casserole to try. They come in little pots so you can be sure the portion size is just right and the pots can be heated in the microwave. The pots can also be re-used when you make your own foods. The purees are meant for 6 months onwards and as Edward has a healthy toddler appetite I added…

Did you know that your empty Johnson’s Baby Wipes packs are full of potential? Johnson’s have joined forces with TerraCycle to launch the new ‘Wipe Out Waste’ initiative. The aim is to reduce waste and its impact on the environment, whilst raising money for charity. The packs are upcycled and turned into bibs, mousemats, baby wipes holders or splash mats! Today Edward and I joined a host of other mummy bloggers to learn about this new initiative. Whilst Edward had fun at a tea party I listened to experts from Johnson’s and TerraCycle tell us how the campaign works. Have…

Every parent had heard and read The Very Hungry Caterpillar books with their children. It was one of the first books we bought when we knew we were expecting and Edward loves the story. Portmeirion have produced a range inspired by the children’s classic, the range includes both child friendly ceramics and adorable keepsakes. We were sent a melamine three piece set, consisting of plate, bowl and cup, to try. Each item features some of the colourful illustrations of Eric Carle. When we were preparing for the arrival of our new baby we shopped around for beautiful things that would keep him warm, comfortable and look good. We ended up with a selection of blankets, which all offered something a little bit different. We were recently sent a blanket to review and we have been using it over the last week or two, we even took it on holiday with us. As you can see Edward loves it and has been carrying it around with him and snuggling up with it whenever he can. The blanket has been through the washing…
