I was hoping we might exchange contracts today but we didn’t, due to loads of difficult people in our chain. Never mind. To compensate, I dragged the boyfriend to Libertys where I looked at their beautiful material and bought some lovely pieces from their haberdashery. They have now beaten John Lewis in my estimation.
