On Saturday we were invited as VIP’s to Bob’s Big Build, a special event for little builders at Fixham, otherwise known as the O2. Our VIP tickets included transport to the O2 on the Thames Clipper which we were really excited about as we had never taken a trip on the Thames before.
Bob’s Big Build
The Thames Clipper is a great way to travel and as we boarded, Edward was given a goody bag stuffed with Bob goodies. We breakfasted on some yummy croissants and fruit and before we knew it we had arrived at the O2 where we were taken to Bob’s Big Build where Edward collected his hard hat and passport.
The area was split into a number of activity zones and Edward enjoyed building a brick wall, colouring in every activity sheet he could get his hands on, the sand pit, the interactive toy play area, listening to a story in the chill out zone, sitting on very comfy beanbags and watching Bob, Wendy and Spud in the live show. We ended our visit with a special screening of Bob’s Big Dino Dig (which is released on DVD from 19th September).
Edward had a fab time. We love taking him out and about in London, especially to events which are so well organised and where can run around and play safely. Thanks for the invite Bob!
