On Friday we went along to see behind the scenes at the UK’s first flagship Nickelodeon Store at No. 1 Leicester Square, London. As it was half term both the children were able to join in the fun. We started our day with a delicious brunch at Muriel’s Kitchen nearby then headed over to the new Nickelodeon Store.
The new multi-level store includes state-of-the-art multimedia and interactive elements to create a showcase for a broad range of products based on Nickelodeon’s favourite characters, including SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dora the Explorer. We had our photo taken with the cut out Ninja Turtle.
We were given a tour of the new store and able to see some of the amazing new products which are available to purchase from Sponge Bob themed Trunkis to playsets, soft toys and clothes. The children took part in some fun craft activities and games and Little Sis was very excited to win the prize in pass the parcel.
Before we left we were able to meet Dora the Explorer. Little Sis was a bit shy but her older brother definitely wasn’t, especially after we met her at Nickelodeon Land Blackpool earlier this month.
The Nickelodeon Store London is bright and colourful and well worth popping by if you are in London. My children could have spent all day there (and probably all their pocket money too!). We especially loved the London themed Sponge Bob toys and we’ll definitely be back for another look round soon.
