Looking through my photographs of Edward’s first six months I’m struck by just how many pics there are of him smiling! According to my scrupulous records he first smiled on his 35 day and he quickly learnt to laugh too. This pic is one of my favourite. Edward seems to save his biggest smiles for when daddy walks through the door after a hard day at the office. I’m not jealous when I’m the one who changes the nappies, feeds him, washes his dirty clothes, etc as each smile makes my heart leap that little bit higher inside.
