Starting the week by writing the Happy List is something I’ve been doing for the last few years. It’s my chance to sit down and reflect on the little or big things that made me smile in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures.
Five Happy Things {Week 46/2025}
Last week was such a quiet week after the previous week. We all needed a rest after such a busy half term away.
We bought the Star Wars Gingerbread AT-AT Walker from the Lego Store! Not that our house needs any more Lego but we couldn’t resist this set. It’s built and on display, a very early Christmas decoration!
We went to the cinema to watch Now You See Me : Now You Don’t. I loved the previous two films but this was the best yet. The ending also teased a fourth film is coming soon. We took the teens and they enjoyed it too.
It feels like I’ve been reading the latest Dan Brown novel for a while now. It’s a great story but such a big book. I’m enjoying reading it but also looking forward to finishing it so I can read something else.
Over the weekend we visited the Nutcracker trail at Cliveden House, our local National Trust property. The weather was lovely after all the rain and we all enjoyed a good walk outside, followed by tea and cake in the conservatory restaurant.

We had a quiet week after the week before as well. I have been past Cliveden House many times before but have never visited it.
Glad to know that you’ve had a quiet and rest-filled week. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences of visiting the Cliveden House.
I went to the cinema tonight to watch Now You See Me , Now You Don’t, brilliant film !!!
