We’ve mentioned a few times now that we really enjoyed visiting Morph’s Epic Art Adventure London trail. Since the trail started we’ve had a couple of trips into London to see it but unfortunately didn’t manage to tick off all the sculptures. The app was really handy keeping tabs of all the sculptures and we definitely had our favourites which we shared with you here and here. Growing up we loved to watch Morph and they inspired some baking at home.
Morph gingerbread biscuits
I couldn’t find a Morph shaped cookie cutter so my husband designed and printed it on our 3D printer for me. I used a recipe from Gingerbread Wonderland by Mima Sinclair which is my favourite gingerbread recipe.
The recipe was easy to make with my 11 year old and she was able to do pretty much everything. Our Morph cookie cutter featured Morph standing with his hands on his hips, just like the sculpture trail! This was the only slightly tricky bit – and my daughter needed a little help pushing those extra bits of gingerbread out.
We baked them according to the instructions and soon had a delicious batch of Morph shaped gingerbread cookies.
We left them to cool before decorating them.
My daughter went a little crazy with the edible eyes and icing pens and created all kinds of her own designs. She even made a Barbie inspired gingerbread biscuit – even though we still haven’t managed to go and watch Barbie at the cinema.
It’s been a while since we enjoyed a baking session together and we had a lot of fun making and eating our very own Morph inspired gingerbread biscuits.

The 3D-printed cookie cutter and your daughter’s enthusiasm add a personal touch. The process and final designs are truly inspiring and make me want to embark on a baking journey too.
