Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to sit down and write. I’m mixing things up a little by posting this weekly post on Sunday instead of Monday!

Sunday Happy Things {Week 425}

My daughter had her birthday last week and despite it being on Monday she had a great day. My friend made her an amazing climbing wall cake as she loves to go climbing and she had a new bike as she loves to cycle everywhere.

Advent comes a few days after her birthday and our little elves brought us all wonderful Advent calendars. This year I have the M&S Beauty Advent Calendar, my husband is enjoying the festive mini mince pie advent calendar from Selfridges, my daughter has the National Geographic Gemstone advent calendar, and my son has the Maker Advent Calendar (includes Raspberry Pi Pico H). I love the fact the children both chose something a little educational this year.

It was a busy week for both the children and Big Brother took his Grade 2 Clarinet exam and Little Sis had her grading day for karate.

Have you watched Wednesday on Netflix? We really enjoyed it and watched it in a week. We are looking forward to Season 2 (in 2024!)

We are slowly getting ready for Christmas. We put up and switched on all our outside Christmas lights which are lovely to come home to after work. We also started shopping for Christmas food and have put some bits and pieces in the freezer, still need to find a decent Turkey for Christmas Day!
