Starting the week by writing the Monday Happy List is something I’ve been doing for a while. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I always love to sit down and write.
Monday Happy Things {Week 411}
We picked our dog up for the boarding kennels where he stayed whilst we were in the Netherlands. He had been on lots of walks and was very dirty so we had to give him a warm bath! He was very tired but happy to see us all. He mostly slept all week.
I used my Cricut to make an activity cube for the kids. It was fun to use my Cricut again and my daughter enjoyed helping me make it. We added a different activity on each side of the cube so there is always something for them to do!
We made lots of bookmarks after my daughter had seen them on Blue Peter. They were a bit like the scratch art we previously made. She added books to read and covered them in paint and washing up liquid, which could be scratched off. She is a huge Blue Peter fan and always making things from their website.
We went school shoe shopping. This is not my favourite thing but needed to be done as we have all the school uniform we need thanks to Very. Everything is ready for the kids to go back to school in September.
I’ve been slowly stitching an old Hoop Club kit from Cotton Clara. The kit is from Box 10 colours are perfect for Autumn.
Sounds like you have been busy, and your dog sounds like he had a great time while you were away. We have a cricut but my husband uses it more than I do
I’d love to buy a cricut, I just don’t have the crafty skills required to justify it. I’m glad you got everything you needed for back to school.
Sounds like a busy week. I have just bought all the school uniform. I left it a bit late this year but I got it all so it’s okay.
