Weekend fun with Kids Against Maturity

With the clocks going back this weekend it feels like the start of lovely long evenings in with the family. We love to spend time at home, my perfect Sunday would involve slow cooking a delicious roast and working our way through the games cupboard. Whilst our roast was in the oven this afternoon we enjoyed trying out Kids Against Maturity.

Our family love playing family games and we already own Cards Against Humanity so we knew what to expect. Kids Against Maturity is designed for both the naughty and nice, it will keep kids busy all winter-long with its age-appropriate toilet humour for kids and witty innuendos for the adults. It’s the perfect accompaniment to any family gathering or games night!

Each player gets 10 white answer cards and takes turns asking the blue question cards. Everyone answers each question with their funniest card choice and places it face down. The question reader chooses what they think is the funniest answer, and the player who placed down that card wins the hand. The player with the predetermined highest number of funniest responses wins the game.

What can I say, other than the kids loved it. Mine are aged 9 (nearly 10!) and 11 so they found the answer cards hilarious. I have to admit that some of the answers left us a little confused but we understood the vast majority of them. There is also the option to remove any card that you don’t approve of.

The game is best enjoyed with 4+ players which makes it a great game to play on lazy Sunday afternoons. It is very easy to learn and simple to play.

The game comes with 600 cards, from which players can create 40,000+ combinations of answers.

Kids Against Maturity has a RRP £19.99, and is available from all good toy shops including Smyths Toy Superstores.
