Finally the weather is getting a little warmer and we can leave our heavy coats at home. The kids are so excited to have the longer days and our dog walks are much more enjoyable. Our crafts have a definite Spring in them and we couldn’t resist adding this fun paper frog craft for kids.
List of supplies:
Coloured card or paper

How to make a paper frog
Select at least 2 different shades of green coloured craft papers, white and pink coloured craft papers for the paper frog craft. Print out our free frog template and trace the body patterns (front, back and head) on the green coloured craft papers; trace the belly pattern on the other green paper; and the small circles on pink paper. Cut out the traced patterns – small children may need help with the toes which are small and a little tricky!
Attach the 2 pink circles on both sides of the cheek parts and attach the 2 eye cutouts on the eye parts of the head pattern.
Grab the front part and cut slit along the yellow lines.
Apply glue between the legs of the front pattern and insert the belly pattern from the bottom side of the slit. Push the belly pattern all the way in and press it against the glued part.
Attach the front pattern in the middle of the back pattern.
Attach the head on the top side of the front pattern by slightly overlapping it.
Use a black marker to trace the mouth and nose.
You can attach the paper frog on a craft stick to make your paper frog into a puppet.
Make one or make a whole army of them.
