I love to start the week by writing the Monday Happy List. It’s a chance for me to sit down and reflect on the things that made me happy in the previous week, as well as to record some of our family adventures. It’s a post I love to write.
Monday Happy List {Week 317}
I wasn’t really expecting to celebrate Bonfire Night this year but our street had a socially-distanced get together last week. We lit some fireworks we had and the kids all played with sparklers. It was really cold but lovely to see each other before the next Lockdown started.
We had a lovely walk around Northmoor Hill Local Nature Reserve on Saturday. We had never been before but we all enjoyed exploring somewhere new. We ended up at The Crew Stop, a lovely cafe at Denham Aerodrome with amazing views of all the planes taking off and landing.
Yesterday I made a start on some of the delicious gingerbread kits I bought this year. The shops are full of them and I’ve been busy stocking up. I made some cute gingerbread biscuits which hang from a mug and the children enjoyed decorating and eating them.
Christmas is all about the decorations and I enjoyed making the Christmas Wreath Kit from I Do Handmade. It used fresh greenery which smelled divine. I have one to giveaway if you would like the chance to make one for yourself too.
I love tinkering behind the scenes with my blog. I think there’s a lot you can learn and do yourself, but there are also some things way beyond me. Something I wanted to do for years was remove the dates from each post url and this week I paid someone to do this for me. I’m hoping it will improve my SEO and it looks so much neater!
Have a great week everyone.

Sounds like a lovely week. We didn’t celebrate bonfire night although we had a great view from our attic bedroom of the skies lit up x
