Studio Creator Video Maker kit

Studio Creator Video Maker kit {review}

Posted on September 8, 2020September 9, 2020 by jenny

My children love technology and this is something that they both explored more during the summer holidays. They are both digital kids, love their tablets and love to create online content – I have no idea where they get that from! A few weeks ago we were gifted the new Studio Creator Video Maker kit from Canal Toys. Today we are going to tell you more about it.

Studio Creator Video Maker kit

Kids love to create content from selfies to TikTok but it can be difficult to know where to start other than a basic phone or tablet. The Studio Creator Video Maker kit has been designed to provide an affordable way to elevate your video content. Creating, editing, and sharing content has never been easier!

Perfect for tweens and teens, the Studio Creator makes it easy and fun to create custom videos. It’s perfect for hands free recording tutorials, music videos, unboxings, reviews and more. Paired with your favourite video editing app, the Studio Creator is the perfect tool for designing engaging content that looks just like one of their online idols!

What’s inside the box:

  • 1 x Green Screen (1m x 1.5m)
  • 1 x Tripod with adjustable height up to 50cm
  • 1 x phone holder compatible with IOS and Android
  • 1 x LED ring light with 3 light modes
  • 1 x 24-page guidebook

My 10 year old couldn’t wait to see what was inside the box. The Green Screen came with sticky tabs so he was able to put it up straight away. He usually makes his videos in the dining room but the background is always super messy. The Green Scene was easy to put up. Then he downloaded the Chromavid app which had 10 default backgrounds to choose from,. You can also pay for extra backgrounds or use one of your own images.

Then he used the adjustable tripod to hold his smartphone, and turned on the LED ring light to set his scene. The ring light can be  tilted 180° to get the perfect angle. It also has three different light settings which means you can use it during the day or night.

There is also a handy 24-page Guidebook which is full of Script ideas, essential checklists and hints and tips to help you increase views of your videos.

My children have had load of fun trying out the Studio Creator kit. The ring light is probably my favourite item as you can use the tripod to hold your phone and have the perfect lighting. The Green Screen is also so really handy if you want the perfect backdrop.

Studio Creator is perfect for ages 8 and over. It is available now for just SRP £24.99 and would make a great gift for a budding YouTuber!

    This sounds like something my youngest would love. She is into making YouTube videos and TikToks with her friends. You have just given me an idea for a Christmas present for her. x

    Hi – is the tripod adjustable so it could be used with an iPad? Thanks
