A day at the KidPreneur Festival at KidZania London

A day at the KidPreneur Festival at KidZania London

Posted on October 13, 2018 by jenny

A few days ago I mentioned that we were looking forward to the KidPreneur festival at KidZania London today. We are huge fans of KidZania, it’s a great immersive experience for kids giving them the chance to try out over 60 activities for themselves. It had been 6 months since our last visit so we were looking forward to seeing what was new and attending some of the talks and workshops which were part of the KidPreneur festival.

A day at the KidPreneur Festival at KidZania London

The KidPreneur festival is dedicated to celebrating young entrepreneurship and inspiring the next generation of innovators and business leaders. As part of the festival there were talks in the KidZania Theatre and Workshops led by Tommy Mallet, CEO of Mallet Footwear; Louise Leolin, CEO of DinoByteLabs; Jenk Oz, CEO of iCoolKid and Rose Dyson, CEO of Pura Cosmetics.

We were lucky to hear both Jenk Oz and Tommy Mallet talk. They were both inspiring and we loved hearing them talk about what inspired them, what they have achieved so far and where they want their businesses to go.

We also managed to attend one of the workshops where the children got to design their own trainers, just like Tommy Mallet. He’s such a lovely guy and I love his message that kids can achieve anything if they are determined and work hard.

As well as the inspiring talks and workshops we also enjoyed exploring KidZania. We were pleased to see several new activities such as the Ninetendo Labo and Starlink Space Station, as well as our old favourites like the Chocolate Factory and Air Conditioning System.

The kids loved their time at KidZania. We all enjoyed the KidPreneur festival and the chance to experience something a little different. KidZania run regular events so keep an eye on their website to see what is happening next.
