The Exclusive Heinz X Cath Kidston Collector’s Box

The Exclusive Heinz X Cath Kidston Collector’s Box

Posted on May 1, 2018May 10, 2018 by jenny

I know I haven’t written about my Cath Kidston obsession for quite a while, and then two posts come along (just like the bus!). Whilst I was in the West End last week I popped into Cath Kidston for a look around. One of the window displays was full of a collaboration between Cath Kidston and Heinz. Yes, from the 16th April you can buy special limited edition Cath Kidston designed tins of soup!

The Exclusive Heinz X Cath Kidston Collector’s Box

I love a bit of Cath Kidston print but I never expected to see them around a product in my food cupboard. All that has changed thanks to their partnership with Heinz, and all for a very worthy cause. To celebrate their 25th Birthday, Cath Kidston have given the iconic Heinz soup can a Spring makeover with the help of some of their most famous prints to brighten up your day! This limited edition collector’s box is now available online and in selected stores, and all proceeds will be donated to charity.

The collector’s box is priced at £10 with 100% of the proceeds being donated to The Trussell Trust, a network of food banks that provide emergency food and support to people in crisis. Three varieties will also be available across a selection of supermarkets for a limited time only, so stock up on soup for Spring!

I didn’t want to carry tins of soup around with me so I ordered the collector’s box for £10 with £3.95 P&P. The collector’s box is made of sturdy cardboard and features the Guards print.

Inside are 4 tins of soup, each with a different Cath Kidston print on the label: Button Spot Cream of Tomato Soup, Bramley Spring Vegetable Soup and Cowboy Cream of Chicken Soup. There is also an exclusive Cream of Tomato Soup in the iconic Guards print which will only be available at Cath Kidston.

The Collector’s Box was slightly bashed even though it was packed inside a cardboard box. I’ll be able to keep it when I’ve used the contents. I had one tin of tomato soup for lunch today but I’ve carefully washed the tin to preserve the label. I’ll probably re-use them and grow some seeds on my kitchen window.

I just checked the website and unfortunately the Collector’s Box has now sold out online. However it’s still available in these 10 stores: Picadilly Flagship, London Bridge, Tottenham Court Road in London, as well as Edinburgh, Cardiff, Liverpool, Meadowhall, Birmingham Grand Central, The Trafford Centre and Brighton.

What do you think of this fun partnership? Have you managed to get your hands on any of the tins?
