10 Royal Wedding crafts fit for a Prince and Princess

Can I admit I’m a little excited about the upcoming Royal Wedding? It doesn’t seem that long ago since we witnessed the wedding of Prince William and Catherine but it was actually the 29th April 2011. We had fun recreating a favourite family photo of mine. Definitely time to start getting excited about Prince Harry finally tying the knot with Meghan Markle.

I have fond memories of watching Princess Diana getting married back in 1981. Did we have the day off school to watch it? I can’t remember but I do remember the souvenirs in all the newspapers, the commemorative mugs and tea towels.

My children are 6 and 8 and I don’t think they will be receiving any souvenirs to keep. That doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate with some crafty activities at home though. Here are some of my faovurite crafts and activities to keep any children occupied in the run up to the latest Royal wedding.
