Three Little Boats

It’s an understatement to say that Edward loves water. Come rain or shine he’s literally scratching to get out the back door to his water table (best investment ever!). Since he’s had the table he’s experimented with all kinds of kitchen utensils so he can play with the water; from plastic cups to a bucket and spade. We were kindly offered the opportunity to try three colourful nesting sailboats from BigJigs. They can be used in the bath tub, paddling pool or water table providing constant water time fun.

As soon as Edward saw them he wanted them out of the packaging and took the boats outside to play with them. He really enjoys playing with them, slotting them together and pulling them apart. When I first saw them I was surprised they were aimed at a 12 months + audience but as the sails can be taken off this is presumably why. The pieces are quite big though so I would happily use them with a younger child under supervision. They are easy to keep clean and as they slot together they don’t take up too much storage space. A great toy which gives lots of pleasure!

sorry for the press pic but excitable child, water and photography do not mix!

Take a look at the Bigjigs website for more toy ideas or follow them on facebook.

Disclosure: I was sent the toy to review but the opinions are all my own.
