The May Bank Holiday weekend saw us enjoying a family weekend away. We managed to fit in some grown up time to see the new Captain America: Civil War film which was really good. You can’t beat a bit of escapism.
We went antique-ing at Frome Market where I nearly picked up a gorgeous dolls house. My practical mind got the better of me and I resisted as I had nowhere to put it. Instead I stocked up on fabric for me, and craft kits for the children, in Millie Moon.
We celebrated May Day by decorating our seasonal tree with flowers and decorations. There was even a May Day hunt in the garden for the children whilst they wore their May Day crowns (purchased from the Sisters Guild in Frome!).
I couldn’t resist buying a few of the latest Lego Minifigs. We probably have enough to make a good wall display but a Lego/Disney collaboration ticks all the right boxes for us. We all had our favourites figures. My 4 year old got to open Lego Mickey and Minnie figures, whilst I found Alice in Wonderland and the Cheshire Cat. My 6 year old loves the Buzz Lightyear. I’m excited about trying to collect the full set.

I’m keeping my happy list short today – have a great week everyone!

I live in Frome and it’s a great market, isn’t it?! That mannequin is rather amazing. I love the sound of your seasonal tree, too.
Lucky you, I love Frome so much. The independent shops are so welcome compared to every other identical high street.
The seasonal tree sounds amazing. Great post this is.
Thanks, my children love to decorate it and celebrate the seasons.
At first I thought you were sitting on a giant dolls head in that photo!! I need to get my eyes tested haha!! We love the LEGO figures here too! Thank you for sharing in #HappyDaysLinky x
Oh my gosh I NEED Alice in Wonderland Lego in my life! Thanks for linking up to #HappyDaysLinky x
