I’m not sure why but I haven’t felt in the mood for sewing recently. I have lots of things to make, such as my Shipping Forecast quilt and a fun Nana Company swap deadline looming. The only thing I have been stitching are pretty yellow English Paper Pieced diamonds from the last issue of Mollie Makes. Normally I love to make the cover gifts so something is definitely wrong with me if I’m still making it (the new issue landed on my doorstep today!). The yellow EPP diamonds will eventually make a Starburst Sampler which I’m going to hang on my quilt gallery wall for my April make. Better get a move on with it then.
At the weekend we went hunting for bluebells at Cliveden, a local National Trust property. I love this time of year and we were greeted by so many beautiful Spring flowers. We packed a picnic and spent all day exploring the gardens, the maze and playground. I can’t wait to go back and see how the beautiful gardens have changed next time we visit.

Sometimes being a blogger is ace. We were offered a new trampoline which I accepted as we had a rusty old second hand one. The children love it and I know it will get plenty of use. Look out for our review shortly.
We were lucky enough to have a visit from the Class Bear last week. My 4 year old was over the moon. Luckily we were the first to host him so his book was empty. My son has previously looked after the Class Bear and there’s nothing worse than looking through the book and seeing all the wonderful adventures people have taken him on! As we were first this time we took him to our favourite place, the local fairy house by the woods. When we got back we added a photo and my 4 year old drew a picture of a fairy in his special book.

I’m looking forward to the Bank Holiday weekend and a short week for the children next week. This Summer term feels very long already so Bank Holidays and half term are welcome. We’ve been planning a little half term adventure too which I’m really excited about.
Have a great week everyone!

Lovely photos! I think it’s so cute that Children get to look after a teddy & take it on adventures, I wish I’d been able to do that at school! I’m looking forward to the bank holiday too 🙂
