It’s been a while since we shared any toy reviews with you but I have a really fun toy to tell you about today. Regular readers will know I have two crafty kids so I knew they would enjoy the 2-in-1 Sticker Magic from Flair’s Cool Create range. These are designed for both girls and boys, aged between 5 – 10 years old.
I loved this kind of thing when I was younger so I had high hopes for this craft kit. According to the blurb: 2-in-1 Sticker Magic is the fun and easy to use sticker machine! Create and customise your own stickers! It magically turns any picture you like into lovely personalised stickers! Simply laminate to give a nice glossy finish to your favourite images. Place your design on the sticky tape, twist the handle and see it magically turn into a unique personalised sticker. Use the fabulous images included, or draw your own designs to make pretty customised stickers! You can turn any drawing, picture or photo into a very cool sticker to stick anywhere or share with friends!
They were pretty excited to see the box which contained the 2-in-1 Sticker Magic machine, stickers, scissors and a roll of paper and a roll of clear tape.
It came with instructions but is pretty easy to use and doesn’t require batteries. Simply cut out your favourite sticker from the sheet, place on top of the roll of clear tape, picture down, and roll the handle. Out pops your sticker which you trim around and use.
My children thought this was wonderful and made stickers for hours! You can also use the machine as a laminator and made a couple of bookmarks.
We haven’t yet experimented with our own pictures but this is the next step. It’s a really fun toy which isn’t too big – you can remove the ends of the handle to keep it stored in the box. It has an RRP £19.99 and is available from Smyths, Amazon and other toy stores. Refill packs are available at additional cost.
