Christmas homestyle housekeeping

Filling the house with seasonal scents

This time of year is perfect for lighting a candle or two. I love candles and find they really add ambience to a room as well as eliminating nasty smells. With Christmas round the corner I’ve been stocking up on some seasonal scents from Febreze to help set the mood this Christmas.

Filling the house with seasonal scents

I’m expecting a house full so I want to make sure my house smells fabulous. The new range, which includes yummy sounding Vanilla Latte, Apple & Spice, Warm Cedarwood, Winter Garden and Festive Sprite, are beautifully packaged in vintage-inspired wrapping so are good enough to give to any hostess too.

Apple & Spice febreze candle

I love Christmassy smells so I’m happy to have some pretty candles, reed diffusers and air effects around the house. My favourite has to be the Apple & Spice candle, especially as the deep red colour will match my Christmas decorations. You also can’t beat the price!

I wanted to share this 12 smells of Christmas image with you which made me laugh. I’ll be stocking up on the scented candles just in case of any brussel sprout or smelly cheese smells any day!

12 smells of Christmas

What is your favourite Christmas smell? A steaming mug of hot chocolate or the smell of a freshly cut Christmas tree? Let me know!

Gingerbread is a good one, I also love the special Christmas candles you can get with cinnamon, frankincense that type of thing. I’m just a big kid when it comes to Christmas x

The list of 12 smells of Christmas is quite funny, but the febreze smells sound much nicer!
