I’m not going to apologise for another gingerbread-related craft 🙂 With only 5 weeks to go until Christmas we are enjoying our festive crafting. Today I wanted to share the sweet gingerbread men paper garland we made.
Equipment needed to make a gingerbread men paper garland:
Gingerbread men paper shapes
brown acrylic paint and brush
glue sticks
stickers, pompoms and shiny things to decorate
bakers twine
How to make a gingerbread men paper garland:
First paint your paper gingerbread men brown. You could cut out your shapes on brown paper or card to miss out this step.
Set up an invitation to play! I placed the gingerbread men, glue sticks and filled a paint tray with supplies and left it out for my children to discover.
They love to glue and stick so this was a fun craft activity for them.
They stuck the pompoms and colourful squares everywhere!
When they had exhausted the supplies finished we set aside the gingerbread men to dry. A little later I threaded bakers twine through their arms and hung them up.
I’ve teamed up with some lovely European children’s activities bloggers to co-host a Countdown to Christmas organised by Cerys at Rainy Day Mum. Every Monday for the next four weeks we will have a different prompt to inspire our festive crafting – this week’s theme is PAPER.

It looks like your little one had a great time making these. Gingerbread is so Christmassy isn’t it.
These are so pretty. I love the paint effect and all of the decorations used.
Aw, they had such fun and what cute little gingerbread people!
She’s having so much fun! 😀 Cutie pie!
This would be wonderful to decorate a fireplace or living room during the festive season.
