Hubelino Marble Run

For the last few weeks my children have been enchanted by a marble run in our local toy shop. Every time we visit they have demanded a couple of marbles so they can watch what happens when they set them off at the top of the run. Luckily for them they were sent the Hubelino Marble Run Starter Set and they’ve been having lots of fun with it at home.

Hubelino_Starter-Construction-KitThe Starter Set includes 85 parts and a construction book, that shows you how to build Marble Runs with less than 10 parts, but also with a lot more. The Set includes a selection of all the bricks necessary to build the 8 designs in the booklet. There are only pictures of the marble runs so they are a little tricky to make but my 4 year old was able to identify the bricks needed and have a go himself.

We’ve been having lots of fun making up our own marble runs too. You can make tunnels and a crossing to short and speedy acceleration curves. Their are lots of bricks to choose from and they are colourful too.

The Hubelino Marble Run is great for encouraging fine motor skills and creativity, as well as analytical thinking and spatial imagination. Both my 2 and 4 year old love the marble run, mummy and daddy have been having fun too! The marble run is actually compatible with Lego Duplo blocks so you can incorporate marble runs into larger builds.

Take a look at some of the things we’ve been building!
