It doesn’t seem very long ago that I was thinking about clothes for Autumn and Winter but the weekend sunshine has got me hopeful about Spring! It’s so lovely to wake up to sunshine and we’ve seen plenty of snowdrops and daffodils on our weekend away. The sunshine has been deceiving as it’s still really cold but I’ve been busy planning.
I’m currently on a mission to make me look a little less mum-sy with a new wardrobe and hair cut. I seem to have settled into wearing a very boring mum-sy uniform of jeans and tops and totally lost my identity since becoming a stay at home mum.
My goal is to look more individual and stylish come the Summer when, fingers crossed, we’ll have moved and the toddler will start at Nursery. I don’t feel very confident in my appearance since having children and I’m feeling sad that there are hardly any photographs of me with them. I take photos every day but the lack of photos of me makes me feel invisible!
Summer feels a while away but I know the next few months will go quickly. I also thought it would be fun to start shopping sooner rather than later and I’ve been negotiating with the husband for time off for good behaviour (mine, definitely not the children’s).
Anyway, I’ve been searching for dresses online and already found some lovely items for my wish list. I also need new jeans, skirts, tops, jumpers, shoes and lots of accessories. My search will be confined to the high street but I’m hoping my budget will allow me to mix and match some key trends with classic charity shop finds. Wish me luck!

Totally with you, I have this fear that warm whether is going to pop out of nowhere and I’m going to be the idiot still wearing jeans and uggs! *writes SHOPPING on to do list* 😉
