We are still moved and the house is only feeling slightly less strange. I feel homesick for our little flat and nicer area of town. Back to work tomorrow which we know will be difficult. We ventured out to B&Q today but it will feel very weird leaving the house on its own all day. Today Ross came and helped resurrect the ginormous Ikea wardrobe and finished all the other little things. I can’t believe that less than 24 hours after we got the keys all our boxes are unpacked and ready for collection and we’re planning the extension!

February 5, 2007 at 11:56 pmHi,
I have somehow come across your website while researching my family tree. I am very hopeful on looking through some of the names on your site…
Alfred B Hacker – he was on the 1901 census boarding with Edward and Jane Payne and Charles, Alice E, Harry, Arthur R and Edith C Hunt. I am presuming that these are some of Jane’s children from her previous marriage – there were other children who were older – George, Ellen, John and Elizabeth C Hunt.
I am a descendent of George Hunt…did the Alfred B Hacker in your tree marry Elizabeth C Hunt?? Do these names match with your information….??
I’d love to hear from you if they do – I know very little details of my Hunt ancestors so would be grateful for anything you might be able to pass on.
Many thanks
Karen
