Win a cute monthly subscription Kawaii Box from Japan

Win a cute monthly subscription Kawaii Box from Japan

Posted on June 19, 2020March 9, 2023 by jenny

I’m sure we’re not the only family who have treated ourselves to some happy mail over the last few weeks. The imposed lockdown has been hard for everyone, especially children who overnight lost the fun and friendship they get at school. There are some lovely subscription boxes and we’ve tried a few new ones over the last month or two, mainly food ones! Kawaii Box recently offered us one of their super cute subscription boxes and I knew this would help cheer us all up.

What is a Kawaii Box?

Kawaii Box is a monthly subscription box filled with super cute kawaii items from Japan, you can see the previous contents of one here. I love kawaii, as do the children, and we love to see what’s inside the box. The packaging features a bright pink design and is instantly recognisable as a Kawaii Box!

Kawaii Birthday Home Party

Each box has a theme for the items inside and this month was Kawaii Birthday Home Party as they are celebrating their 6th kawaii birthday. My children ripped through the box to see what was inside, thankfully it contains a leaflet which tells you a little more about each item.

This months’ box included sakura washi tape bundle, Little Fairy Tale 2-in-1 sharpener and eraser, Chocoball brisk white soda treats, Butterfly Blossom pen, kawaii dreams bag, sweet bow hair tie set, Amuse character egg shaped hair brush and neon candy highlighter. You can see the items were a mixture of fun kawaii items which included stationery, food and every day items.

First of all we tried the Chocoball brisk white soda treats which were really unusual. Then my children divided up the stationery items as they are obsessed with stationery. We are all big fans of Animal Crossing Pocket Camp so I took the sakura washi tapes, they totally reminded me of Animal Crossing! I’m going to use the kawaii bag for my lunch bag when I can eventually go back to work and we were all able to take a few treats each. The Kawaii Box really cheered us all up. Kawaii never fails to put a smile on our faces!
