Slimelicious Soda Shop review

So Slime DIY – Slimelicious Soda Shop review

Posted on May 10, 2020May 15, 2020 by jenny

We’ve had a lovely three-day weekend. We enjoyed walks with the puppy, homemade cake and playing. I have to say weekends are so much easier than trying to homeschool my youngest right now! Thankfully we were gifted a new product from the So Slimelicious DIY to enjoy at home.

My daughter adores playing with slime. It’s really therapeutic for her to play with it and she loves to sit watching a film and plying with her slime. We’ve reviewed the So Slime DIY Slimelicious Case before and my daughter really enjoyed making her own slime.

Slimelicious Mini Shop and Collectibles

Create your own fabulous scented slime, personalise with your own decorations and then store it in the adorable mini shakers and display in the mini shop. There are three fabulous shops available to create your very own high street including soda, ice cream and sweet shops!

This new mini range is a further extension to the So Slimelicious DIY range that offers an awesome range of food inspired DIY slimes housed in bespoke slimeshakers.

We received the So Slime DIY – Slimelicious Soda Shop,  which has a RRP £7.99. This is one of the super cute Slimelicious mini shops. You can create your own mini soda shop complete with fabulous scented slime. Design it, mix it and then make it your own, add a mini charm for the final touches to your new slime collection!

Inside the box was the soda shop, 2 mini shakers, 6 bags of scented slime powder, 3 bags containing different decorations, 2 charms and an instruction leaflet.

The slime was pretty similar to the previous kit we reviewed. My daughter chose a container and a slime powder. She filled the container with water then poured in the scented slime powder. She put the lid on the container and shook it to mix the two. Then it was left for 5 minutes to thicken. After 5 minutes she opened up the container and was able to choose some decorations to add.

The slime was lovely and thick but you could add less water if you wanted a thinner slime. My daughter repeated the steps with the other container and chose a different scented slime. Each container had a lid to store the slime. There were also extra packets of slime powder for another day.

My daughter had fun with this set and I would easily pick up the other sets for her. She loves a little experiment and had fun with these. Slime is a great toy for sensory play and helps develop fine motor strength. It also never hurts to remind your child about the activators in the slime powder which help it turn from a powder into a liquid with the magic of some H20!

As well as the Slimelicious Soda Shop, you can also buy the Slimelicious Sweet Shop, Slimelicious Ice Cream Shop and Slimelicious Mini Blind Packs.

You can purchase the Slimelicious Soda Shop from all good toy shops, including Amazon, priced £9.99.

Who doesn’t love a play with slime? This kit is really good value I think and she looks like she had fun with it

What a fun kit! A great indoor activity for this time and like you say it’s fun but also helpful for sensory play. I’ll share this with my friends who have kids 🙂
