Recreate Playmobil the Movie with Del's Food Truck

Recreate Playmobil the Movie with Del’s Food Truck

Posted on August 6, 2019October 11, 2021 by jenny

If you love taking the kids to the cinema then the summer holidays are great for new film releases. Last week I told you about Horrible Histories: The Movie – Rotten Romans. We haven’t managed to watch that yet but we have seen Playmobil: The Movie. The kids love seeing their favourite toys brought to life on the big screen and we were all excited when we were invited to the preview of the Playmobil film.

Playmobil: The Movie

By chance, siblings Marla and Charlie are drawn into the magical, colourful Playmobil universe and separated. To find Charlie again, Marla must embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Fortunately she meets Del, a crazed food truck driver, who helps her to find her way in this fantastic world with its wacky rules. Together, the two of them drive through the exciting Playmobil worlds in Del’s food truck, pass difficult challenges and grow beyond themselves on their journey. But will they succeed in finding Charlie?

Playmobil The Movie playsets

Playmobil: The Movie is the first animated film inspired by the imaginative world of Playmobil and takes the audience on an epic, funny and unforgettable adventure. To coincide with the cinema launch, there are nine new playsets based around the Playmobil film.

We were gifted the Del’s Food Truck playset to play with at home. The children both love Playmobil and this was their favourite set from the new range. The play set consists of Marla and Del, Del’s red food truck with lots of equipment, sleeping serum, magic hay and many other extras.

My children loved building the truck and putting the stickers in the right places. They were able to set everything up with very little help. There are a huge number of accessories with this set so they could recreate all their favourite parts of the film at home.

This playset is so much fun and can obviously be combined with other playsets from the Playmboil The Movie range for even more fun. You can see the unboxing video we made here.

It costs £44.99 and is available from all good toy shops. Playmobil: The Movie playsets are recommended for ages five and over and are available now from all good toy stores. To view the full range please visit www.playmobil.co.uk/onlineshop/products/the-movie.

I love that food truck! How on trend is this toy? If I had this as a kid I would be delighted. The details are so cool too, look at his shirt and beard – a real hipster ha!
