Now the children (and I!) have broken up from school I feel we can get properly excited for Easter. It’s one of my favourite times of year and we just need the weather to warm up a little. We have tons of adventures planned for the next couple of weeks, ending with celebrating Easter with family. We’ve already shared our Easter bunny cupcakes but I couldn’t resist sharing one more recipe, to make these adorable Peeps Bunny cupcakes.
Peeps Bunny Cupcakes ingredients:
- 2 dozen white cupcakes, unfrosted
- 1 can vanilla frosting
- blue food colouring
- 24 Peeps Bunnies
- Small zippered bag
- Toothpicks
- Wilton 1M Open Star Piping Tip
- (optional) sprinkles
How to make Peeps Bunny Cupcakes:
Put 3-5 drops of blue food colouring into the frosting, stir well until all of the frosting is coloured.
Put frosting into a piping bag and pipe frosting onto the cupcakes.
Insert a toothpick into the bottom of the Peeps Bunny
Stick a Peeps Bunny in the centre of frosted cupcake.
Add sprinkles if desired.

Oh these are too cute and don’t sound TOO difficult to decorate either. I’d definitely be up for giving it a go. Great to see something with an Easter theme in blue too rather than yellow! xxx
What fun cakes! I’ve never seen Peeps before, but they look super cute. Almost too cute to eat!
