Is it too early to be thinking about Christmas? The Smyths toy catalogue launches in store this Friday (tomorrow!) which always makes my thoughts turn to Christmas. We try to ban much Christmas talk until my daughter’s birthday at the end of November, but I sneakily have to do quite a lot of shopping behind the scenes to keep on top of it all.
He’s making a list
Smyths toy catalogue is bursting with over 328 pages of inspiration for little ones to enjoy, offering the best possible selection of toys, outdoor, video games and baby products! My children love a catalogue as much as I did when I was little. Did you do this when you were younger? Before the days of the internet I was so happy to be given a catalogue to look through and pick some ideas for Father Christmas.
My children are quite happy to keep on with the tradition. Children are very visual so love to be able to pick up a catalogue and see all the latest toys spread out before them. My children tried to look through the Smyths toy catalogue together but this wasn’t very successful. My 8 year old loves Lego Ninjago and couldn’t wait to see all the Lego sets. My 6 year old has her heart on adding some more Hatchimals to her collection and was pretty excited to see so many toys she could ask for.
The cover of the catalogue is so appealing, featuring Lego, Peppa Pig, Our Generation, PJ Masks, Fingerlings, Incredibles, LOL Surprise and Crate Creatures. My children are so lucky to be sent some wonderful toys but that doesn’t stop them from wanting all the latest games and toys they can see in the catalogue!
The kids have already asked to make their Christmas lists from the catalogue and I think I will soon see it full of colourful sticky notes. Have your kids started to talk about Christmas yet? Don’t forget to request your own catalogue here.
