As a big fan of cake we just love celebrating National Cupcake Week! Did you know it’s National Cupcake Week? This year it’s celebrated from the 17th to 23rd September and anyone can get involved by sharing their delicious cupcake creations on social using the #NationalCupcakeWeek.
Celebrating National Cupcake Week!
My kids love to bake. I’ve always wanted them to be confident in the kitchen and I’m pleased to say they are. Baking is great fun but can be educational too, just think of all the maths skills they use with all that measuring! Our baking adventures have included pizza, gingerbread biscuits and some really fun cupcake creations, including Wimbledon inspired cupcakes, unicorn cupcakes, Tunnocks Tea Cakes cupcakes and Gruffalo cupcakes.
For this National Cupcake Week we decided to get our favourite Sylvanians to help us in the kitchen. Little Sis has some great Sylvanian Families themed baking toys, including the Brick Oven Bakery and the Cake Decorating Set, perfect for when she wants to role play just like mum!
The Sylvanian Families Cake Decorating Set is a cute set and a great addition to the range. It contains the toy poodle girl who wears a special dress complete with an apron for baking, along with an array of cakes and delicate decorations. My daughter loves playing with it, especially in the gingerbread house I made for her.
