Bandai has taken two of the hottest trends and combined them into one fun plush collection called Poo-nicorns. We were sent a selection for the children to review. I didn’t really know what to expect when I heard about them but both my children love unicorns and the poo emoji, I love how this brought them both together and I knew they would be an instant hit with them.
These characters come in a variety of affordable plush ranging from 9cm Plushies Palz with a carabiner clip to add to bags or keyrings, to 40cm Puffiez Pillows. All are complete with bold bright colours and big eyes making them the quirkiest characters around.
We were sent a great selection of Poo-nicorns to open which included plush and small collectibles hidden in plastic eggs. I could see they were very colourful and I knew they would be popular with my children.
Poo-nicorns characters from Bandai
The first thing my 6 year old chose to open was the Droplingz. These are quite large at 6.5cm, each contains a hanging plush toy and comes inside a spotty plastic egg. They costing £4.99 each.
Next we opened the Squishiez. These are the smallest characters in the range and come hidden in whimsical, colourful eggs, covered in speckles. Each egg contains a Poo-nicorns character with five different characters to collect. We received three and thought they were very cute and collectible. These cost just £2.99 each, a great pocket money toy.
Then it was time for the colourful plush poonicorns. The 9cm Hanging Plushi Palz comes complete with a clip so these cute characters can be carried everywhere and make the perfect accessory. My daughter hung it on her rucksack straight away.
We also received two larger sized Poo-nicorns Plushiez, one 15cm and one 25.5cm. My daughter loved them, both were in bright neon colours, with multi-coloured hair. The 9cm Hanging Plushiez costs £3.99, the 15cm Plushiez costs £6.99, the 25.5cm Plushiez costs £12.99 and the 40cm Plushiez Pillow costs £9.99. There is a toy for every budget!
There’s something quite cute about Poonicorns and I expect they will be a huge hit with children. I love how they bring unicorns and emoji together to create a new character to collect. I didn’t think the range was huge but this is a bit of a relief as my children get obsessed with collecting the entire range! The plush toys have definitely been the most popular. They are super soft and quirky, we loved their huge eyes, bright neon colours and multi-colourful hair.
