Minecraft Master Builder World Tour

Minecraft Master Builder World Tour {review and giveaway}

Posted on March 20, 2018 by jenny

It’s no secret around here that my 8 year old is a huge Minecraft fan. I can’t remember when he was first introduced to it but he loves it. It was his birthday last week and there was a definite Minecraft theme going on. I managed to find Minecraft inspired tablecloths, plates, cup and napkins for his party, and had fun making him a Minecraft inspired chest to hold some of his birthday presents. We also made some Minecraft inspired wall art for his bedroom which he really liked.

Not only does he enjoy playing Minecraft but he pretty much seems to absorb Minecraft facts through any medium. He loves the Official Minecraft magazine (although it’s really hard to get hold of) and has a great collection of Minecraft books. You may remember that last year we reviewed Minecraft Master Builder Toolkit by Juliet Stanley. He recently received a copy of her latest book – Minecraft Master Builder World – to review. Read on for our thoughts, and your chance to win a copy too.

Minecraft Master Builder World Tour

My son still reads and enjoys Minecraft Master Builder Toolkit so I knew he was going to enjoy Minecraft Master Builder World. It’s an incredible step-by-step guide to creating your own amazing Minecraft masterpieces. There are simple-to-follow, step-by-step instructions for 15 constructions that have been specially created by expert Minecrafters specially for the book, divided into five continents (Africa, Asia, Europe, Australasia and the Americas).

Each build is rated as Quick, Intermediate or Master Build; and includes a list of materials for each project, plus guidance on how long each build will take. The book is full of fascinating Minecraft facts, figures and trivia which makes it a fun book to read too. My son is excited by all the ideas in the book and it’s a fun way to learn more about the real world too. It’s well set out and easy to read. In fact it’s been my son’s bedtime book for the last few days as he plots his next build with his dad!

Minecraft Master Builder World Tour

Minecraft Master Builder World Tour by Juliet Stanley is priced £7.99 and perfect for ages 9 and over. Read on for your chance to win a copy!
