Disney’s Vampirina {toy review}

My 6 year old has completely fallen under the spell of Vampirina, the hot new Disney Junior TV show which celebrates friendship and difference – with a spooktacular twist! The show is based on the Vampirina Ballerina series of books written by Anne Marie Pace and illustrated by LeUyen Pham. Vampirina follows the story of Vampirina “Vee” Hauntley who becomes the new kid on the block after she and her family move from Transylvania to Pennsylvania to open a local bed and breakfast called the Scare B&B for visiting ghouls and goblins.

Now there’s a cool new toy range to accompany the show from Flair, featuring dolls, accessories and playsets so girls can recreate the Vampirina fun at home with their friends. We were sent some of the new toys to try out at home.

Vampirina Spookylele and Gloves

The Spooktastic Spookylele looks just like Vampirina’s! Press the buttons to activate lights and hear Vampirina’s theme song along with additional music, guitar riffs and whammy sounds! The guitar features fun bright colours and the mouth of theSpookylele really moves! My daughter loved dressing up and playing her Spookylele, just like Vampirina.

Hauntley’s Mobile

Hauntley’s Mobile vehicle features lights, sounds, music and accessories (including a coffin-shaped table and popcorn). Hauntley’s Mobile cleverly transforms into a moonlit movie theatre! The playset comes with a Vee figure to play with!

Vampirina Bat-tastic talking Vee and Wolfie

My daughter loves dolls so I knew she would enjoy the Vampirina Bat-tastic talking Vee and Wolfie figure. You can press Vampirina’s necklace to hear her say fun phrases from the show. Bat-tastic Vee features pop-up and light-up wings, and she can be put into flying mode to hear more fun sounds. The Vampirina doll comes with her loyal pal, Wolfie, and is dressed in a spook-tastic web-detailed dress with matching necklace.
