homestyle Monday Happy List

Monday happy things {Week 155}

too early for Christmas carols?

We had a really busy weekend so it’s nice to finally sit down and go back over the past week. Time for my weekly Happy Things post.

The first full week of school was a bit hard on my children. My 5 year old has not been enjoying the transition into Year 1 as she has far less time to play. Her reading has improved so much since she’s been back at school though so all the extra hours of working are obviously paying off.

Now the children are back at school I’ve been planning a few craft projects. I was actually excited to finally stitch and put up the playhouse curtains. These were on my to do list for months and every time I look at the playhouse I smile to myself.

I love this time of year and have been happy that the choir I sing in has started again. We’re rehearsing for our Christmas concert so have been practising singing Christmas carols!

My sister came to visit for the weekend and we had our annual trip to The Handmade Fair. I always enjoy The Handmade Fair and made a super cute floral wreath. I picked up lots of supplies too to get me through the colder months.

I think this week will be busy but I have lots to look forward. I’m going to meet some of the Netflix Stream Team this week and I’m hoping to get my hands on my new iPhone! I’ve had my iPhone 6s Plus for ages and an so excited about the new camera on it.

    A new phone is always so exciting; I’m upgrading mine soon as well and the new camera will definitely be the best part 🙂 Can’t wait to see the pics you snap with it!

    Oh my gosh that playhouse is the sweetest thing. I hope your little one enjoys year one! 🙂
