Glimmies Rainbow Friends {Glimtree and Glimwheel}

Glimmies Rainbow Friends {Glimtree and Glimwheel review}

Posted on September 16, 2017February 22, 2023 by jenny

Earlier this year we told you about Glimmies, sweet little collectible star fairies. Well we were delighted to be sent the new Glimmies Rainbow Friends Glimtree and Glimwheel playsets!

Glimmies are the little star fairies sent by the moon to take care of “Glimmieswood” forest animals. Each Glimmies Rainbow Friends has her own name and bio. During the dark, Glimmies magically light up the wood shining bright, creating a beautiful and magical light like a firefly. Glimmies always shine bright at night and hide in the light… but held cupped in the hand they will also reveal their beautiful glowing and enchanting light.

Not only do these Glimmies Rainbow Friends light up in the dark but their light also change colour when they’re placed next to one another! There are 12 Glimmies to collect across the Single Blisters packs, all representing a forest animal with its own distinctive colour and facial expressions!

We received the Glimmies Rainbow Friends Glimtree and the Glimmies Rainbow Friends Glimwheel. Both interactive playsets come with an exclusive Glimmies Rainbow Friends figure. Take a look at our unboxing video to take a closer look at each playset. We’ve included all the important bits including how to turn the Glimmies on, how to turn on the Glimtree and Glimwheel, and also made sure to show you how they light up at night!

Glimmies Rainbow Friends Glimtree

The Glimtree activates the Glimmies light-up function. Put a Glimmie inside the Glimtree and see it light up, taking the doll’s colour. Place two Glimmies to see the tree light up, taking their colours in a rainbow effect. You can open up the tree foliage to reveal a big house, and use the hooks to hang the Glimhouses (sold separately). The Glimtree comes with an exclusive unicorn Irilius Glimmie character.

Glimmies can now go for a ride on the Glimwheel! The Glimwheel magically spins in the dark! Thanks to the daylight mode, it spins in daylight too! Place up to 3 Glimmies on the Glimwheel and watch them enjoying a ferris wheel ride! This playset comes with the exclusive Alcyona figure.

My daughter loves Glimmies but these playsets are great for extending playtime. We loved the detail of the Glimtree but the Glimwheel is great for helping your child get off to a good nights sleep. These super cute playsets are a great addition to the Glimmies range.

Glimmies Rainbow Friends Glimwheel

The Glimmies Rainbow Friends Glimtree RRP £34.99 and the Glimmies Rainbow Friends Glimwheel RRP £24.99. You can also buy Glimmies in Single Blister packs and cute little Glimterns. All are available from Flair and other good toy shops.
