My Mermaid Lagoon {Marina's Lagoon} Playset

My Mermaid Lagoon {Marina’s Lagoon} Playset

Posted on August 20, 2017March 20, 2019 by jenny

Regular readers will know that we love crafty toys and activities. I love planning activities but sometimes it’s nice to bring out a toy that I know they will enjoy. Recently we received the My Mermaid Lagoon from Interplay UK to review.

My Mermaid Lagoon Playset

Create a magical mermaid world where Mermaids and their animal friends love to live! Mould, sculpt and play with the glittery magic sand and use corals, shells and other accessories to create an enchanting ‘under-the-sea’ scene in a beautiful bottle with a pretty shell-shaped stopper. Take your mermaid anywhere, carried safe and snug in her clamshell home that fits perfectly into a pocket.

My Mermaid Lagoon

This is a fun playset. It is one of a set of three, each with a different mermaid character. We received Marina who comes with a dolphin but there is also Pearl and her narwhal friend, and Coral and her seahorse.

My 5 year old really enjoyed creating her own little world with this playset. It is easy to create an enchanting ‘under-the-sea’ scene in a beautiful bottle with My Mermaid Lagoon. She loved the play sand which is a little reminiscent of Cra-Z-Sand as it is easy to create shapes which last.

My Mermaid Lagoon

I set her up at the table and she kept everything on a tray as she can be a little messy. She enjoyed hiding all the little accessories in the sand and making me look for them! Then she could re-arrange the little mermaid in her bottle, along with the dolphin and create sand shapes.

Everything fits neatly inside the bottle but you can also take the mermaid and her clamshell out and about, they are the perfect size for little pockets.

My Mermaid Lagoon

My Mermaid Lagoon from Interplay UK is priced around £16.99 and available from Amazon (affiliate link) and all good toy shops.

This looks like such a fun playset – I would definitely have begged my mum for something like this when I was younger

Aww what a fantastic kit! It’s so cool that you can create your own ‘lagoon’ for the mermaid! My little girl would LOVE this!

This is just so cute – Pickle loves toys like this and if he can take it around with him, even better. Kaz x
