Monday happy things {Week 150}

Happy Monday everyone! Time for my weekly post, about the things which made me happy in the previous week. Today I bring you the Summer Holidays Week 3 edition!

The last week of the summer holidays has been much more relaxing than the previous two. We’ve had family staying so had less days out. Despite this we managed two trips to the theatre!

I finally reached my 2 stone award at Slimming World! I’ve been going to Slimming World meetings for a few months. I don’t find it too hard to follow, especially now I’ve cut back on the Chinese takeaways. I was so happy to receive my latest award. I feel great and am enjoying updating my wardrobe!

The kids were missing their school friends so enjoyed a day at the Holiday Club at school. Not only did they get to spend the day with their friends in a setting they knew, they also played sports all day so were super tired at bedtime!

My sister was visiting last week and she drinks a LOT of tea. She pretty much always has a cup of tea in her hand so it was a good time to be trying out the No More Tea Bags tea which is a liquid instant tea. There are three flavours – English Breakfast, Jasmine and Earl Grey. It’s super simple to use, tastes just like real tea and best of all, there are no tea bags to worry about.

With a few extra pairs of hands around at home I was able to pop out to get my hair cut. I was brave and tried a different hairdressers and got a much better hair cut as a result.
