Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match

Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match {app review}

Posted on May 6, 2017April 16, 2024 by jenny

My youngest loves dinosaurs. Her bedside table is full of books about dinosaurs and they always seem to crop up in whatever game she is playing thanks to her collection of little toy dinosaurs. So it’s probably no surprise to other parents that she loves the Dinosaur Train tv show. It features a curious young Tyrannosaurus rex named Buddy who, together with his adopted Pteranodon family, takes the Dinosaur Train to explore his time period, and have adventures with all kinds of dinosaurs.

Fans of the Dinosaur Train will love the new Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match app. Based on the popular Dinosaur Train tv Series from the Jim Henson company, Kuato Studios bring you Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match.

Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match

Both my children love using my iPhone and iPad and I usually let them play on one or the other if they have done their reading and any other little jobs. I like to make sure the apps they use are educational and fun and Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match, based on the Jim Henson tv series, definitely fits the bill.

Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match

My daughter is quite creative so she has been enjoying colouring in the 24 fun filled pictures ofBuddy the dinosaur, his friends and their adventures! You can choose from a variety of pencils and brush sizes and even print their creations to share with friends and family.

Children can also test their memory skills with Mr Conductor, as they try to beat the clock and help him match up as many train tickets as possible. There are 4 different difficultly levels which makes this an app that children will be able to use as they grow. My children love matching games, they are perfect for encouraging memory skills and hand-eye co-ordination.

Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match

This is just one of the many games by Kuato Studios, all of which can be found on the App Store of Google Play Store. Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match is perfect for ages 5 and under (although my 7 year old enjoys this app too!). It costs 99p from the App Store and Google Play.
