Lalaloopsy Glitter Hair Dough Doll

Lalaloopsy Glitter Hair Dough Doll {Twist Tress ‘N’ Braid}

Posted on September 29, 2016February 9, 2019 by jenny

My little 4 year old is adjusting really well to her new school routine. She is completely knackered after school, which isn’t surprising, but we’ve been keeping busy with nice and simple activities. She loves playing with play dough which is perfect for developing her fine motor skills. Recently our play dough has taken a sparkly turn thanks to the Lalaloopsy Glitter Hair Dough Doll.

Lalaloopsy have just launched their new Autumn/Winter range which includes the Potty Surprise doll, Princess Style N Swap range and Glitter Hair Dough Doll. We were sent the Lalaloopsy Glitter Hair Dough Doll to review.

This is a large and colourful toy with lots of accessories. Meet Twist Tress ‘N’ Braid – the Lalaloopsy doll who loves to sport a different hairstyle every day!

Lalaloopsy Glitter Hair Dough Doll

You can Twist, Braid, Snip & Grow with the Lalaloopsy Glitter Hair Dough Doll. You can style her hair in lots of different ways, then cut it and ‘grow’ it again! From twists, braids, curls, plaits, buns and more, the styling fun is endless.

As you can see, one doll is included. She comes with her own seat so she can sit up unassisted, whilst you concentrate on the hair styling. Three different glittery hair dough colours are included, you can choose one or mix them up for rainbow styling. Simply pop the dough under your chosen hair cap, then turn Twist Tress ‘N’ Braid’s pigtails to ‘grow’ the hair.

You can just see the dough beginning to pop out here.

The set comes with three styling caps, scissors and hair clips so you can style it in any way you like for hours of hair-raising fun. Or you can just cover the whole doll in glittery dough!

My daughter has been having lots of fun with it. I think we’re going to need a few more attempts to recreate some of the hairstyles shown on the box but it’s a really fun toy which we’ll be having hours of play with.

    I was just thinking of getting play dough for my daughter. This looks like a great choice.
