The Cath Kidston Colouring Book

The Cath Kidston Colouring Book

Posted on June 5, 2016December 8, 2017 by jenny

I’ve always been a fan of pretty prints and patterns so when I heard about The Cath Kidston Colouring Book I knew I would be ordering myself a copy. I’m always sharing my latest adult colouring book on here and Instagram. What can I say? I really do like them and have a shelf full of them.

So what can you expect from The Cath Kidston Colouring Book?

Colour in the best-loved designs from two decades of Cath Kidston prints. Enhance your inner creativity with your own colour combinations; relax and be inspired by looks that are adored the world over.

Reimagine your favourite Cath Kidston designs, or simply recreate the classic prints in their original colours. With hand-drawn illustrations from the Cath Kidston archive as well as contemporary designs, this is the must-have for every CK fan.

Featuring 43 designs there is plenty to keep you busy in The Cath Kidston Colouring Book. I think there is a great mixture of old and new designs, some full page and some repeated. I was pleased to see my favourite Boat, but there are florals, kids patterns, London Buses, Shooting Stars and hopefully a great range for everyone to enjoy.

At the beginning is a handy Print Library of the 43 designs so you can see the original colours. I enjoyed reminding myself of them but its a great guide if you want to recreate the original designs. The Cath Kidston Colouring Book costs £10 but is already on offer for £7.50 on Amazon.

The Cath Kidston Floral Colouring Book is released later this year which is already on pre-order for me! This one is coming with me on my next holiday, so look out for some finished pages on my Instagram.

I’d love to buy this – what is the quality of the paper and are the prints back to back or one per sheet? Thanks x

Great questions! The paper is good quality and almost feels like card. The designs are all back to back which is a shame. I wish the pages were perforated so you could easily take them out and frame them when you were finished!

Thanks Jenny! Yes, I think it is a shame when the pages are back to back and there is no perforation. I do love her designs though and have loads of her homewear, bags and cloths so think I will go ahead and order. Thank you for the review and answering my query x
