Now you may not think that this is the time of year we typically enjoy ice cream. However our family loves nothing better than cold ice cream with hot puddings, especially on a lazy Sunday like the one we had today. Recently we’ve been trying out the amazing ChillFactor Ice Cream Maker which means you can make your very own ice cream treats at home in minutes.
You make the ice cream in four easy steps:
1. Remove the lid from the ChillFactor Ice Cream Maker and place the cone on the freezer for 4-6 hours or until frozen.
2. Remove the cone from the freezer. Measure and mix your ingredients in the lid and pour them into the ChillFactor Ice Cream Maker.
3. Screw the lid back on and shake for a few seconds.
4. Remove the topping lid and squeeze until you have made your ice cream.
This is a great little gadget and we all had fun trying out some of the recipes. We used single cream and added chocolate syrup and different flavours to make some of the recipe suggestions included in the kit. We didn’t need to buy any special ingredients so I think the ChillFactor Ice Cream Maker represents great value with a RRP £14.99.
