What I’ve been using – Klorane Nettle Shampoo

A couple of days ago I shared with you my handbag essentials, brilliant Rescue Cream and Balm. I enjoyed writing that post as I’m beginning to enjoy trying out new beauty products, so today I have something else to share – Klorane Nettle Shampoo, a deeply cleansing formula for those prone to oiliness.

bottle of klorane shampooThis gentle, effective treatment shampoo gives you more time between washes, working to regularise the amount of oil your scalp produces while slowing its spread throughout the hair. The star ingredient of the shampoo is scopoletine, an extract from nettle, which restores balance to the scalp.

I had forgotten that I had previously tried Klorane shampoo, and loved it. I’ve never found it in any of the places I usually shop so I’ve really been enjoying trying out Klorane Nettle Shampoo.

Hypoallergenic and extremely mild, the Nettle Shampoo enhances volume and detangles for soft and bouncy hair that lasts. After sustained use, oil secretion is regularised, enabling you to wash your hair less frequently.

You just apply to wet hair, massage in, and then rinse away thoroughly. Follow with your usual conditioner. If you have an oily scalp and dry tips, apply the Klorane Mango Butter conditioner through the lengths and the ends, avoiding the roots.

The Nettle was chosen for its content of scopoletine, which helps regulate sebum production. I found I needed to wash my hair twice as the first application didn’t lather very well. However my hair smells deliciously clean, is noticeably less greasy and feels soft and silky. I’ll definitely be looking out for this again.
