pregnancy third trimester

I need some flowers!

The weather has been so strange over the last few days, really hot. This is great if you like blue, cloudless skies but not so great at 7 months pregnant! As much as I don’t want to wish away the next 8 weeks, I am looking forward to proper autumnal weather, being less physically tired and the arrival of our Second Baby.

I need some cheering up. Last week we were clearing my mum’s attic and I was sorting through items to keep or take to the charity shop. A box full of precious photographs, family bibles and books got taken to the charity shop by mistake. I’m really upset and although we managed to track down a few items the rest have been disposed of or sold.

Then, on our way home, our car was hit by a Biffa truck which resulted in a trip to hospital and whiplash for me and a delay in our journey home as our car was towed away and we had to wait an extra night for a hire car. However, we are all fine apart from the shock so I shouldn’t complain as it could have been worse.

I physically have no room for food or chocolates at the moment, new clothes are not making me feel any better but I would love some flowers. If any of our friends around the country need a hint I know details of florists everywhere… enough hints, family and friends??

I have to say my husband isn’t particularly romantic and I’m more likely to get flowers from my mum than him. However, I know he occasionally reads my blog, and he definitely knows I need cheering up, so hubby please send me a lovely bouquet of autumnal blooms to brighten my day!
