Five Things That Make Me Feel Good

This meme has been around for a while and as nobody has tagged me (sob) I thought I would join in. So Five Things That Make Me Feel Good:

1 Putting an exhausted boy to bed because we’ve had a great day together. I love it when we’re both tired but happy. This means that we’ve had a good day, probably gone out and done something fun and created memories.

2 An empty washing basket means I’m on top of some of the domestic chores. The washing basket seems to be permanently full since Edward arrived. He’s a proper boy and mealtimes seem to equal new clean clothes are required.

3 A full fridge makes me very happy. I try to be organised and shop online. Nothing beats food being delivered to my door. It also means one less thing to worry about and gives me more time to concentrate on the fun things in life (sleep, sleep and more sleep).

4 A walk along the beach in a nice bikini, feeling the sun and fresh air on my face. Although we don’t live by the sea we manage to escape to the seaside fairly frequently. I love a blast of fresh sea air and a good view. I’m not so keen on sand in my shoes but the benefits outweigh the sand.

5 Completing something handmade. I’m not a finisher. I have so many projects waiting to be given some attention – I can’t list them as it would be too embarrassing. So when I do finish something I am always happy.  I think this is the reason I take part in so many swaps with deadlines.
