We took our tree and Christmas decorations down yesterday. It took hours but I’m quite pleased our house has now returned to normal. My son is very sad though as he adored turning off the big light “to see how pretty the tree looks”. He really ‘got’ Christmas this year and enjoyed every minute.
Three Kings craft to celebrate Epiphany
To cheer him up I thought we would make one last Christmas craft. January 6th is celebrated as the Epiphany, or the day the three Wise Men (or Kings) visited the infant Jesus. Our Three Kings or Epiphany craft, is a great way to celebrate the arrival of the three Kings Day.
We had lots of sparkly bits left around after tidying away our Christmas decorations so it was easy to make our own three Kings.
We used little wooden spoons as a base and added crowns, beards and leftover stickers and pieces of tinsel and ribbon for their clothes.
They came together quite quickly, the toddler enjoyed glueing most of all, and we’re pretty pleased with the finished results.
What do you think of our three Kings Day craft? Why not try baking our Twelfth Night gingerbread biscuits.

Aw. This is so Beautiful. Great for puppet show.
I adore this idea, so simple, but so effective
It’s my little boy’s birthday on Jan 6th so I should have a go at this craft with him. I’ve a box of all sorts from the Christmas packaging, always worth keeping for crafting.
so cute! I love these, and good idea fitting xmas crafts right until the last day
How lovely. My toddler keeps asking where Christmas has
gone! I wish I’d thought to do something like this to make the
transition easier for her.
What a wonderful idea, really simple but fabulous

Such a fun, quick and simple craft project x
Great idea, love your son’s three kings.
A very simple but brilliant idea. It is sad when you have to take your tree down ๐
It can look so bare when the decs come down. Looks like you had tonnes of fun making the three kings though! Going to remember that craft for next Xmas – would make a cracking nativity addition ๐
Brilliant idea – and so easy to adapt for other times of the year x
So sweet! We could almost make blogger ones and freak people out at blogging conferences by popping them up as folk talk ๐
What a lovely simple idea! Fun for the kids
What a lovely little activity. Really sweet.
Pinned!
Such a cute idea, I love it ๐
We celebrate Little Christmas on 6th Jan as they do in Ireland, and take our decs down that day. Aaron helped me which was fun. These 3 kings look spiffing xx
They are so cute what a gorgeous idea.
Those are very cute, simple yet effective craft I think. I
was also pleased to take the Christmas stuff down as it was
starting to take over.
