Doc McStuffins fixes broken toys in her backyard playhouse clinic with the help of her friends Hallie, Lambie, Chilly, and Stuffy. Both my children love the programme and love to play doctor to their toys. They were sent the Make Me Better Lambie from the very popular Doc McStuffins range of toys from Flair.
The toy was very appealing in the box and pretty simple to get out. It needed a battery and then was ready to go. Lambie was grabbed by Little Sis straight away although it took her a while to figure out the connection between placing the syringe on Lambie and making her better. Lambie’s tummy lights up with a soft red light when she is in pain, you then need to place the syringe on the heart on her bottom to cure her, then the soft red light disappears and a “relief” sound can be heard when Lambie has recovered. Both my children laughed when they heard the noise.
I like the fact that the plush doubled as a night time friend but to be honest the light only stays on for a few seconds so it wouldn’t give much comfort to perhaps an older child. You only need to press her hand and her tummy glows with a soft yellow light. Night night Lambie!
The toy is perfect for age 1+ which I would agree with. It is quite soft and cuddly and immediately took pride of place in Little Sis’s cot.
My 3 year old also loves Lambie and there have been a few fights over who takes her to bed. It’s a very sweet toy which encourages your own child to play doctor. The noise she makes is just the right level and lasts just long enough for my liking!
