Had a great weekend driving through beautiful country. We went and visited some relatives in Worcestershire and made a weekend of it by staying in a lovely hotel in the heart of the Malverns. After a hearty cooked breakfast we climbed to the top of the British Camp, 338m with great views across Herefordshire and Worcestershire! Then we drove down to Winchcombe and on to Hailes Abbey. I also managed to squeeze in a bit of time for some shopping (hooray!) so I have some new clothes and some beautiful Cath Kidston fabrics to add to my growing stash. I have seen a great doorstop project in my new book, Lotta Jansdotter’s simple sewing. Watch this space!
