    If you have young children like me you’re probably aware of the characters from Marvel Universe. Both my children have their favourite characters so I was pretty excited to receive an invitation for the family to attend a special event at the Disney Store on Oxford Street for Marvel Universe LIVE! Super Heroes Assemble – the spectacular live action family arena show.     My 6 year old adores The Clangers and I have pretty fond memories of them from my own childhood. So when I heard the Clangers were coming to the Museum of Childhood I knew we would have to go.     Yesterday we were invited to the Discover Children’s Story Centre in London to see Michael Rosen’s new exhibition Bear Hunt, Chocolate Cake & Bad Things. The exhibition closes on 10th April 2016 so I’m really glad we were able to squeeze in a visit before it goes on tour around the country.     We have a slight obsession with fairy houses here at the gingerbread house blog.     A couple of weeks ago my 5 year old and I ventured into London for a day out on our own. He is great company and loves the tube so we made a little detour so we could take in the DLR too.     I took the opportunity of a rare trip to London to pop into the British Library today to see the Alice in Wonderland exhibition today. Did you know that Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland were first published in 1865 so last year celebrated their 150th anniversary? I have to admit I haven’t seen or heard many things about the anniversary, although we did enjoy The Alice Look display at the Museum of Childhood last year.
